Product design and platform
CheckMyRef
Challenge
People were requesting the same employment references again each time they needed them. The product had to give professionals a place to keep those references and use them again, and the brand had to feel clear rather than bureaucratic.
Approach
The work covered the product identity and the interface together. The visual system uses neutral tones, two complementary typefaces, and a logo relationship that keeps the screens recognisable as one product.
What was built
- A platform brief centred on storing, managing and reusing employment references.
- A brand direction built from a restrained palette and typography that matches the logo.
- Interface layouts for the professional and agency views of the product.
Scope
- Product branding
- Interface design
- Reference management flows
The project record does not name a public technology stack, so none is listed.
What was delivered
A cohesive product identity and a set of interfaces for keeping employment references and reusing them, instead of requesting the same reference from a past employer each time.
